This copy is the mass-market variant cover, drawn by Brian Ching, who drew more issues of the series than anyone and who created the looks for the main characters. The interior cover is also drawn by Brian, and in addition to stories drawn by him there are tales drawn by Dustin Weaver, Bong Dazo, Harvey Tolibao, Dean Zachary, Andrea Mutti, Travel Foreman, Scott Hepburn, Alan Robinson, and Ron Chan. Almost every page was colored by the great Michael Atiyeh, and Michael Heisler lettered the whole thing. The volume is 1,344 pages and includes the entire Dark Horse comics series and all its ancillary titles. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic/Rebellion #0 (2006). The Handbook and my in-universe text pages are also here, and those weren’t reprinted by Dark Horse either. The book, which weighs seven and a half pounds, follows the adventures of Zayne Carrick, a Jedi student accused of a crime he did not commit. Taking place several years before the Knights of the Old Republic game, it also provides the first appearances in comics of Revan and Malak, as well as other game characters. This edition contains just about everything I ever wrote for the series in comics form, and I can’t envision a better possible collection. Marvel did a great job. Prices on many of the individual issues have climbed, and the Omnibus, now out for a year, is likewise in short supply. This book is just as I received it, with the shrinkwrap removed only so that I could sign it. I usually inscribe the books inside with May the Force be with you!
