Spent much of his time around the studio of a landscape artist which allowed him to discover his love for graphic art. He learnt the art of graphic design in Cape Town while also serving in a job as a backstage crew for international bands that visited the country. However, in early 1980s he immigrated to the UK. In 1998, he set off to establish himself as a tattoo artist. Despite his sincere efforts, he was unable to achieve any success in London working in Camden market. The next few years saw him working as a freelancer graphic designer in England. This paved the way for him to start working in custom sign making and advertising. By 2009, he was confident of returning to London to start a career in arts. Employing a range of mixed media such as spray paint, screen painting, hand painting acrylics, photography and collage and digital matte painting, Adams was able to win fame. He has been influenced by artists like Roy Lichtenstein, Norman Rockwell, Sir Peter Blake and Andy Warhol.
